The Bay Of Plenty Trailer Yacht Squadron is based on Lake Rotoiti in the central North Island. The Squadron was established in July 1974.

The Squadron is affiliated with the New Zealand Trailer Yacht Association and Yachting New Zealand our National body.

BOPTYS has an extensive Marina facility and Hard Stand compound at Okawa Bay Lake Rotoiti. 

Visitors are most welcome and affiliated club members are welcome to use our facilities when sailing on Lake Rotoiti.
